1.7 مليار دولار لتحديث ثلاثة موانئ أفريقية من ضمنها ميناء داكار

داكار ، (APS) – أبرمت موانئ دبي العالمية ، الشركة الرائدة في سلسلة التوريد العالمية ومجموعة CDC ، مؤسسة تمويل التنمية البريطانية والمستثمر القوي ، شراكة بقيمة 1.7 مليار دولار بهدف تحديث وتطوير 3 موانئ في داكار (السنغال). السخنة (مصر) وبربرة (الصومال).
حسبما جاء في بيان صحفي أرسل إلى وكالة الأنباء السنغالية.
وأفاد البيان أن هذه الشراكة تهدف أيضًا إلى تطوير إمكانات أفريقيا التجارية طويلة الأجل وتسريع وتيرة الآفاق الاقتصادية لملايين الأشخاص ،
واكد البيان أن المنصة تغطي فترة استثمارات طويلة الأجل ، مشيرًا إلى أن موانئ دبي العالمية تلتزم بمليار دولار وأن CDC تصل قيمة مساهمتها إلى 700 مليون دولار.
ويشير البيان إلى أن هذه الاستثمارات ستساعد في محاربة الاختلال الملحوظ في التجارة الدولية ، من خلال دعم تحديث وتوسيع الموانئ والمنصات اللوجستية البرية عبر إفريقيا ، بدءًا من ميناء داكار (السنغال) والسخنة (مصر) وبربرة ( القرن الافريقي).
وتشير التوقعات إلى أن توسيع ميناء (داكار) يجب أن يسمح بنشاط تجاري يساهم في ضبط 18 ٪ من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي ويزن 36 ٪ من التجارة الوطنية” بحلول عام 2035.
وتضيف التقديرات أن أكثر من 48٪ من سكان السنغال وجزء كبير من سكان مالي البالغ 20 مليون نسمة يمكن أن يستفيدوا من هذا التطور.
وقال الموقعون على هذه الشراكة: “سيتم دعم 2.3 مليون فرصة عمل في السنغال بشكل غير مباشر. وستكون هذه التوسعة الجديدة ، التي تستفيد من استثمار ما يقرب من مليار دولار ، أكبر استثمار أجنبي مباشر حصلت عليه السنغال على الإطلاق”.
