انطلقت صباح اليوم الخميس 29 يوليو 2021 على عموم التراب الوطني امتحانات شهادة الثانوية العامة (الباكلوريا) للسنة الدراسية 2021/2020؛ بمشاركة 157312 مترشحا موزعين بين 15 أكاديميات في السنغال، منها :
(17549) مترشحا في داكار، و (8684) في جربل ، و (9516) في فاتيك، و (2957) في كفرين ، و (12222) في كولاك ، و (1382) في كيدوغو، و (5861) في كلدا، و (6588) في لوغا، و (3789) في ماتم، و (21411) في بيكين غيجواي، و (8401 )في روفيسك، و (11257) في سانت لويس، و (4930) في سيجو، و (4463) في تمباكوندا، و (26679) في تييس، و (11623) في زيغينشور، وتشكل نسبة التلاميذ المترشحين في المدارس العمومية لهذه الشهادة مايزيد على 52 %. بينما وصلت نسبة المترشحين إلى 18%.
ويتوزع المشاركون في هذه الامتحانات، التي تجرى على مدى أربعة أيام متتالية ؛ على مختلف الشعب، و هي شعبة الآداب، وشعبة العلوم ، إلى جانب الشهادة الثانوية العربية شعبة الآداب.
