يذكر المجلس الوطني للاعلام السمعي البصري أنه اعتبارا من 5 يناير، يحظر أي دعاية مقنعة باستخدام وسائل الإعلام الوطنية والعامة والخاصة في ضوء الانتخابات الرئاسية المقرر إجراؤها في 25 فبراير.
وفي بيان صحفي ، دعا المجلس الوطني للاعلام السمعي البصري (CNRA) وسائل الإعلام إلى احترام فترة ما قبل الحملة، والتي “تمتد من منتصف ليل الجمعة 5 يناير 2024 إلى منتصف ليل السبت 3 فبراير 2024”.
وينوه أنه “خلال فترة ما قبل الحملة الانتخابية، يُحظر بث وسائل الإعلام (الصحافة المكتوبة والصحافة الإلكترونية والإذاعة والتلفزيون) لأي مظاهرة أو إعلان عام لدعم مرشح أو حزب سياسي أو تحالف من الأحزاب السياسية”.
ودعا المجلس الوطني للاعلام السمعي والبصري ، العاملين في حقل الصحافة إلى تغطية الانتخابات الرئاسية المقررة يوم 25 فبراير الجاري، وفقا لأحكام القانون الانتخابي الذي ينظم العمل في مختلف مراحله، ما قبل الحملة الانتخابية، وأثناء الحملة، ومابعدها .
ويعلن المجلس أن الحملة الانتخابية ستفتتح رسميا يوم الأحد 4 فبراير 2024 عند منتصف الليل وتنتهي يوم الجمعة 23 فبراير 2024 عند منتصف الليل
