أصدر المجلس الدستوري اليوم قراره بشأن الطعن المقدم من أعضاء المعارضة في البرلمان، والذي طعن في تعيين السيد عثمان سونكو في الجمعية الوطنية.
وفي قرارها رقم 5/ج/2026، الصادر بتاريخ 17 يونيو/حزيران 2026، قضت المحكمة العليا بعدم اختصاص المجلس الدستوري بالنظر في القرار المطعون فيه.
للتذكير، كان هذا الطعن، المقدم بتاريخ 1 يونيو/حزيران 2026، يهدف إلى إعلان عدم دستورية قرار مكتب الجمعية الوطنية الصادر بتاريخ 24 مايو/أيار 2026، والذي يُقرّ تعيين السيد عثمان سونكو عضوًا في البرلمان.
وبهذا القرار، يُنهي المجلس الدستوري الإجراءات التي بدأها أعضاء المعارضة في البرلمان، رافضًا ممارسة الرقابة على هذا الإجراء تحديدًا الصادر عن مكتب الجمعية الوطنية
