موريتانيا: الرئيس السابق يرفض “استقبال” وفد حقوقي في سجنه

رفض الرئيس الموريتاني السابق محمد ولد عبد العزيز، “التعاطي” مع وفد من “اللجنة الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان” زاره، السبت، في مكان احتجازه بالعاصمة نواكشوط.
وأحال القضاء الموريتاني في وقت متأخر من مساء الثلاثاء الماضي، ولد عبد العزيز للسجن.
وقال أحمد سالم ولد بوحبيني رئيس اللجنة (حكومية) في مؤتمر صحفي عقده بنواكشوط، إن وفدا من اللجنة “زار الرئيس السابق وتم إبلاغه بحضوره لكنه رفض التعاطي معه”.
وأضاف: “نأسف لعدم تعاطي الرئيس السابق مع وفد اللجنة، ونؤكد أننا جاهزون للتعاطي معه في أي وقت”.
ولفت ولد بوحبيني، إلى أن “دور اللجنة هو الاطلاع على ظروف المعتقلين”، نافيا أن “يكون لها أي دور سياسي”.
وفي 11 مارس الماضي، وجهت النيابة العامة إلى ولد عبد العزيز و12 من أركان حكمه، تهما بينها غسل أموال ومنح امتيازات غير مبررة في صفقات حكومية.
وأصدر القضاء في 4 أبريل الماضي، قرارا بتجميد ممتلكات المتهمين الـ13، وتم فرض إقامة جبرية على ولد عبد العزيز في منزله بالعاصمة نواكشوط، مع إلزامه بالتوقيع لدى الشرطة 3 مرات أسبوعيا.
وفي انتخابات 2019 دعم ولد عبد العزيز الرئيس الحالي محمد ولد الشيخ الغزواني الذي شارك معه في انقلاب 2008.
ومطلع أغسطس 2019، بدأ الغزواني ولاية رئاسية من 5 سنوات، إثر فوزه بنسبة 52 بالمئة في انتخابات أجريت في 22 يونيو الماضي من ذلك العام.
