أعلنت 10 أحزاب سياسية في مالي، بينها حزب الرئيس الأسبق إبراهيم بوبكر كيتا، رفضها تمديد الفترة الانتقالية في البلاد لمدة 5 سنوات، معتبرة ذلك “انتهاكا للميثاق الانتقالي” فضلا عن أنه “لم يكن موضوع مناقشات” و”لا يمكن أن يكون طموحا عميقا للشعب المالي”.
وأضافت الأحزاب المنضوية تحت “إطار التبادل للأحزاب والمجموعات السياسية من أجل انتقال ناجح”، في بيان صادر عنها الأحد، رفضها “لهذا البرنامج الزمني أحادي الجانب وغير المنطقي”.
ويأتي إعلان هذه الأحزاب السياسية، رفض تمديد الفترة الاننقالية، بعدما أوصت جلسات التشاور الوطني المقاطعة من طرفها، بتمديد الفترة الانتقالية لفترة من 6 أشهر إلى 5 سنوات.
وقد أطلع وفد مالي برئاسة وزير الخارجية عبدولاي ديوب، الرئيس الدوري للمجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب إفريقيا “إيكواس” نانا أكوفو أدو على جدول زمني للانتخابات المالية، على أساس تمديد الفترة الانتقالية لمدة 5 سنوات.
وأعلنت “إيكواس” على إثر ذلك عن قمة استثنائية الأحد المقبل في العاصمة أكرا حول مالي، وكانت قد هددت الشهر الماضي بفرض عقوبات جديدة على البلاد، إذا لم تجر الانتخابات في موعدها المحدد في فبراير المقبل.
