وأكدت الوزارة، في بيان رسمي، أن هذا المنشور لا يصدر عنها ولا عن الأجهزة الأمنية، وأن جميع المعلومات الواردة فيه، بما في ذلك حدود السرعة وقيمة الغرامات والعقوبات، لا تستند إلى أي نص تنظيمي نافذ.
ودعت الوزارة، بقيادة عبد الأحد اندياي، مستعملي الطريق إلى توخي الحذر وعدم تداول المعلومات غير الموثقة، مشددة على أن البيانات الصادرة عبر قنواتها الرسمية هي المرجع الوحيد للمعلومات المتعلقة بهذا الملف.
وفي المقابل، أوضحت الوزارة أن مشروعًا لإنشاء نظام آلي لمراقبة حركة السير لا يزال قيد الإعداد في إطار تعزيز السلامة الطرقية، مؤكدة أن تفاصيله التقنية والقانونية والتنظيمية ستُعلن رسميًا قبل دخوله حيز التنفيذ.
واختتمت الوزارة بيانها بتجديد التزامها بتحسين السلامة المرورية، داعية جميع السائقين إلى الالتزام بقانون السير واحترام قواعد المرور
