وبحسبه ، فإن فريق العمل التابع للأمم المتحدة سينظر في موضوع الاعتقال التعسفي وكذلك المفوضية الأوروبية والبرلمان الأوروبي لبحث إمكانية فرض عقوبات على السلطات السنغالية المتورطة في ارتكاب الأعمال المذكورة.
