“جنوب إفريقيا” ترفض الترخيص للقاح “سبوتنيك-في” الروسي
رفضت جنوب إفريقيا الترخيص للقاح الروسي المضاد لكورونا سبوتنيك-في، وفق ما أعلنت وكالة الأدوية الإثنين، في وقت تواجه صعوبة في توفير جرعات كافية لسكانها البالغ عددهم 59 مليونا.
وقالت الوكالة الجنوب إفريقية في بيان إن “استخدام لقاح سبوتنيك-في في جنوب إفريقيا حيث انتشار ونسبة الإصابة بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية مرتفع، قد يزيد من خطر إصابة الرجال الذين تم تطعيمهم بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية”.
من جهته، قال معهد “جاماليا” الروسي الذي طور اللقاح، في بيان إنه سيقدم دليلا على أن مخاوف جنوب إفريقيا “لا أساس لها على الإطلاق”.
وأضاف أن النتائج المتعلقة بالأشخاص المعرضين لخطر الإصابة بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية تستند إلى دراسات محدودة النطاق.
وتستعمل جنوب إفريقيا لقاحي جونسون آند جونسون وفايزر/بايونتيك، إضافة إلى لقاح سينوفار الصيني.
ولم يحظ اللقاح الروسي حتى الآن بموافقة من منظمة الصحة العالمية، لكنه يستعمل في 45 بلدا على الأقل.
