قام السيد دجيم درامي، المندوب العام للشؤون الدينية (DEGAR)، برفقة السيد محمد مختار لوم، الأمين العام المعين حديثًا للمندوبية ، بزيارة مجاملة إلى كاتدرائية داكار يوم الأربعاء الموافق 24 يونيو/حزيران 2026. وكان في استقبال الوفد عمداء الأساقفة، ونوابهم، ومندوبو الأساقفة.
وقد أتاح هذا الاجتماع، الذي نسقه الأب ألفونس ندور، منبرًا لمناقشات مثمرة حول تعزيز التماسك الاجتماعي، والنموذج السنغالي للتعايش السلمي، والحوار بين الأديان، وهي قيم تُشكل أساس استقرار السنغال وتماسكها الاجتماعي.
كما أتاحت المناقشات فرصة لعرض رسالة المندوبية وأولوياتها، بالإضافة إلى عرض التعاون والتبادل مع الكنيسة الكاثوليكية، بما يُعزز شراكة تُسهم في السلام الاجتماعي، والتفاهم المتبادل، وتُقوي الحوار بين الطوائف الدينية.
