حينما يكون الحديث عن مكة المكرمة ، فإنه يكون حديثا جامعا شاملا ، يتناول موقعها الجغرافي ، ونشأتها ، لا لكونها مدينة قديمة شهدت تطورات متسارعة ، ولكن لكونها أم القرى التي احتضنت الرضيع إسماعيل عليه السلام وأمه هاجر يوم أتى بهما الخليل إبراهيم عليه السلام ، وتركهما بأرض لا أنيس بها ولا ونيس .
كما أن مكة المكرمة شهدت ولادة خاتم الأنبياء والمرسلين سيدنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ، النبي الذي جعل برسالته للعالمين الانس والجن .
وفي حلقة الأسبوع الماضي تحدثت عن مسجد الجن ، وموقعه ، وحدثه ، واليوم أتناول بإيجاز الحديث عن مسجد الشجرة الواقع على امتداد مسجد الجن على الناحية الجنوبية ، ويبعد عن المسجد الحرام بنحو خمسمائة متر ، وهو بمحاذاة مسجد الجن ، وقريب من مدخل مقبرة المعلاة من جهة الغزة .
أما سبب تسميته بمسجد الشجرة فروي عن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم ، أنه كان بالحجون فرد عليه المشركون فقال: اللهم أرني آية اليوم لا أبالي من كذبني بعدها فأتي فقيل: ادع شجرة فأقبلت تخط الأرض حتى انتهت إليه فسلمت عليه صلى الله عليه وسلم ثم أمرها فرجعت إلى موضعها.
ومن هنا جاءت تسمية المسجد بهذا الاسم ، ولازال موجودا في موقعه ، غير أنه يعرف حاليا لدى أهالي مكة المكرمة ، باسم مسجد الجندراوي ، وتم إدخال البناء الحديث عليه .
