وفاز القارئ حمزة سابو بالجائزة الكبرى لهذه المسابقة في دورتها الثانية بمبلغ (عشرة الاف دولار) في فئة حفظ القرآن بأكمله مع التجويد والتفسير، فيما احتل المرتبة الثانية السنغالي خديم نجاي ، والثالثة، التركي محمد حيزان.
ومنحت الجوائز في فئة حفظ القرآن بأكمله مع التجويد والتفسير، لكل من السنغاليين مصطفى ندجينغ ، وباي صالح ،وجيل غيي.
كما فاز بجوائز فئة حفظ الأجزاء العشرة الأخيرة من القرآن الكريم، كل من السنغاليين عبد الأحد نيانغ، وسيرنج مودكبير، والحاج بارا مباكي.
