اتفق الجيش السوداني وقوات الدعم السريع على السماح بفتح “مسارات آمنة للحالات الإنسانية” لمدة 3 ساعات، بينما تتواصل المواجهات بين الطرفين في العاصمة وأجزاء عديدة من البلاد.
وأعلن الجيش وقوات الدعم السريع، في بيانين منفصلين أنه تم الاتفاق على مقترح للأمم المتحدة بفتح “مسارات آمنة للحالات الانسانية” لثلاث ساعات، تبدأ من الساعة الثانية زوالا بالتوقيت العالمي الموحد، الرابعة عصرا بتوقيت السودان.
وعلى صعيد آخر، عرضت مصر وجنوب السودان اليوم الأحد وساطة بين الجيش السوداني وقوات الدعم السريع، وناشدتا خلال اتصال هاتفي بين الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي، ونظيره سلفا كير، “تغليب صوت الحكمة والحوار السلمي”.
ونقلت صحيفة “يديعوت أحرونوت” الإسرائيلية عن مسؤول إسرائيلي، أن وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي و”الموساد” يشاركان في مساع بين طرفي النزاع بالسودان.
وعلى صعيد آخر أعلن مجلس السلم والأمن بالاتحاد الإفريقي رفضه الشديد “أي تدخل خارجي من شأنه تعقيد الوضع في السودان”.
ودعا المجلس في ختام اجتماع طارئ له الطرفين إلى “وقف إطلاق النار دون شروط، وتبني الحل السلمي والحوار لحل الأزمة”.
كما أكدت جامعة الدول العربية في ختام اجتماع على مستوى المندوبين الدائمين، على “أهمية العودة السريعة إلى المسار السلمي لحل الأزمة السودانية، والتأسيس لمرحلة جديدة تلبي طموحات وتطلعات الشعب السوداني وتسهم في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار السياسي والاقتصادي”.
وضمن تداعيات التوتر العسكري في السودان، أعلن برنامج الأغذية العالمي اليوم تعليق مساعداته في البلاد، بعد مقتل 3 من موظفيه في إقليم دافور بغرب السودان.
