وكان الهدف من القمة مساعدة “مالي “على الخروج من الأزمة السياسية.
ولقد تناول الكلمة جميع الرؤساء
، وأجمعوا على القول بأن هناك حاجة *ملحة إلى حل الأزمة في “مالي “.
باالنسبة للرئيس السنغالي ماكي صال ، ان مجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا تقوم بدورها في منع الصراعات والحفاظ على الاستقرار والأمن والسلام في المنطقة .
*ومن جانبه قال “الحسن واتارا” من “كوت ديفوار “إن مصداقية المجموعة الإقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا على المحك في هذه الأزمة”. وأضاف “نحن نقف جانب الشعب المالي ، ولسنا جانب الفوضى”. *
مع قبول جميع النتائج التي توصلت اليها بعثات الوساطة للمجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا .
*وطالب السيد “واتارا “بالاستقالة الفورية لـ 31 نائباً الذين انتقدهم الشعب المالي ، وانتخاب مكتب جديد للجمعية الوطنية و اعضاء المجلس الدستوري.
أما الرئيس المالي “ابراهيم بوبكر *كيتا ” فقد كان لديه كلمات قاسية للغاية تجاه معارضته والإمام “ديكو”
ووفقًا “لإبراهيم بوبكر كيتا”فإن الغرض من هذه المظاهرات التي يقودها “ديكو “ليست الا محاولة خلق عملية انتقالية تحوّل جمهورية “مالي ” الى دولة إسلامية .
مضيفا ان هذه فدية حرب “ديكو “وهي جريمة لا تغتفر. ” على حد تعبيره “
وندد السيد ” كيتا” بما سماه غطرسة الإمام “ديكو” تجاه رؤساء دول “ايكواس ” وأخبر عن محاولة انقلاب من قبل المعارضة . “
وأعلن الرئيس “المالي”تاييده لنتائج تقرير المجموعة الاقتصادية لدول غرب أفريقيا.
