ظل السودان يتابع بأهتمام بالغ التطورات الأخيرة للأوضاع في سوريا الشقيقة، وما أفضت إليه من تغيير سياسي في البلاد.
يجدد السودان دعمه لحق الشعب السورى في فرض إرادته وممارسة حقوقه المشروعة واختيار كيفية إدارة شؤونه. ويدعو المجتمع الدولى إلى احترام خيار الشعب السوري ودعم وحدة سوريا وسيادتها على أراضيها ومساندتها لصون مواردها ومقدراتها والنهوض بدورها الاقليمي والدولي ومقاومة التدخلات الخارجية في شؤونها الداخلية.
كما يعبر عن ثقته أن الشعب السوري الشقيق وقواه السياسية والإجتماعية سيبذلون كل جهد ممكن لاستغلال الفرصه الحقيقية التي يتيحها التغيير السياسي لتمتين الوحدة الوطنية وترسيخ الأمن والسلام والأستقرار وإرساء العدالة الاجتماعية في ربوع سوريا الشقيقة، لتظل دائما منارة للحضارة والاستنارة والخير.
ويشيد السودان بما جسده أبناء الشعب السوري الشقيق من وعي كامل بما تتطلبه المرحلة من وحدة وتكاتف وتسامي علي دواعي الأنقسام والتشتت وحرص علي حماية مؤسسات الدولة السورية ، مما يطمئن علي ان سوريا ستتجاوز بسلام صعوبات الانتقال لعهد جديد.
