قال رئيس الوزراء عثمان في بيان من رئاسة الوزراء ؛” أجريتُ محادثات مطوّلة مع نظيري، دولة رئيس وزراء المملكة المغربية، السيد عزيز أخنوش.
وقد اتفقنا معًا، وبتوجيهات سامية من صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس، وفخامة الرئيس باسيرو ديوماي دياخار فاي، على مواصلة العمل، بروح من التهدئة والسكينة والانفراج، من أجل تعزيز وتوطيد الروابط العريقة والضاربة في عمق التاريخ التي تجمع بين بلدينا.”
وقال سونكو :” تُحيط حكومة السنغال علمًا بأنها تتابع عن كثب، وبالتنسيق مع السلطات القنصلية والدبلوماسية المعتمدة، ومع السلطات المغربية، أوضاع المشجّعين الذين جرى توقيفهم في الرباط، وكذلك أوضاع مواطنينا المقيمين في المملكة المغربية، ” وطالب بتوخي الحذر إزاء سيل المعلومات المتداولة، ولا سيما عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي وبعض وسائل الإعلام، والتي يندرج معظمها في إطار التضليل الإعلامي.”
وفي هذا السياق، دعا السيد سونكو المواطنين في كلا البلدين، وكافة الأصدقاء، إلى نزع الطابع الانفعالي عن هذا الحدث، الذي لا يمكن، بأي حال من الأحوال، أن يتجاوز الإطار الرياضي البحت. ” ويضيف :” فالتحديات المشتركة التي تواجهنا أعظم شأنًا وأعمق أثرًا. ومن هذا المنطلق، أعربنا عن ارتياحنا المتبادل لانعقاد الدورة الخامسة عشرة للجنة الكبرى المشتركة بين الدولتين، خلال الفترة من 26 إلى 28 يناير الجاري في الرباط، تحت الرئاسة الفعلية لرئيسي الوزراء في البلدين.”
وأشار إلى أن موعد هذا الاستحقاق الثنائي المهم، الذي لم يُعقد منذ عام 2013 في داكار، كان قد تم الاتفاق عليه بشكل مشترك في نهاية شهر ديسمبر 2025.
وتؤكد السنغال، في الختام، تمسّكها التاريخي، وجهودها الدؤوبة والمتواصلة، في سير ترسيخ أواصر الصداقة، وتعزيز علاقات السلام والاحترام المتبادل بين الدول والشعوب والأمم.”
