السنغال تطلق أول قمر اصطناعي لتعزيز التنمية الزراعية ودعم مواردها

أعلنت السنغال إطلاق أول قمر اصطناعي يحمل اسم جينديسات -1 إيه إلى الفضاء، بهدف مراقبة ورصد الأرض، وجمع وتحليل البيانات التي ستدعم إدارة الموارد الطبيعية والوقاية من الكوارث وتعزيز التنمية الزراعية.

وذكرت وسائل إعلام أن القمر الاصطناعي الذى تم إطلاقه أمس الاول عبر صاروخ سبيس إكس فالكون 9 من قاعدة فاندنبرج في كاليفورنيا، بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية يهدف إلى رصد الأرض، وتقديم بيانات قيمة سيتم استخدامها في مجالات متعددة، تشمل إدارة الموارد الطبيعية، الوقاية من الكوارث، والزراعة.

وقد تأخر إطلاق هذا القمر الصناعي الذى بدأ العمل عليه عام 2019 لمدة ثلاثة أشهر عن الجدول الزمني المخطط له.
