قدمت وزارة الصحة السنغالية يوم الخميس البيان الرسمي حول وضع وباء كورونا حيث أعلن عن 145 اصابة جديدة ووفاة واحدة مرتبطة بالمرض ، ليصل إجمالي عدد الأشخاص الذين تم اختبار إصابتهم بالفيروس إلى 9266 وعدد الوفيات إلى 178 منذ ظهوره في البلاد في 2 مارس.
هذه النتايج افرزتها الاختبارات على 1170 شخصًا ، وهو ما يمثل نسبة تبلغ 12.39٪.
وفي تصريح لمدير الصحة شدد على أن هذه الاصابات الجديدة تخص 145 شخصًا حتى الآن تحت المراقبة من قبل الخدمات الصحية و 26 آخرين من انتقال المجتمع المحلي موزعة عبر البلد.
كما أعلن مدير الصحة عن شفاء 62 مريضاً ، فيما وصل عدد المرضى في العناية المركزة إلى 47 حالة.
بعد 144 يوما من ظهور المرض في السنغال ، تم إحصاء 9،266 حالة إيجابية. بلغ عدد المرضى الذين تم شفاؤهم 6170 حالة وفاة ووفاة 178. ويقدر عدد المرضى الذين ما زالوا يخضعون للعلاج بـ 2917 ، وفقًا لوزارة الصحة والعمل الاجتماعي.
