نظمت الجمعية الخيرية الإسلامية السنغالية حفل انطلاق برامجها الخيرية الموسمية وذلك بتسليم رواتب إلى عدد من الأئمة في كل من مدينة “لوغا” وقرية “غيدي” وفي منطقة “فوتا” ، وفي “طوبى تول”.
وقد وصل عدد الإئمة الذين استفادوا من هذا البرنامج 134 إماما، يتقاضون راتبا تشجيعيا يقدر بـ 360.000 ف سيفا .
الجمعية الخيرية الإسلامية هي إحدى الجمعيات العاملة في ميدان العمل الإسلامي بالسنغال، ويرأسها الأستاذ “مختار فال” ويقع مقرها المركزي بمدينة “لوغا”، حيث تغطي أعمالها الخيرية جميع مناطق السنغال، وتمتد أنشطتها إلى جمهورية غامبيا، حيث يجري حاليا بناء أكبر جامع نفذته الجمعية، وتتنوع أنشطة الجمعية من خلال بناء عدد كبير من المساجد والجوامع، وحفر العديد من آبار الشرب في الأرياف، إضافة إلى القيام بتوزيع كميات من المواد الغذائية الأساسية على المحتاجين ضمن برامجها الموسمية في رمضان وعيد الأضحى
