متى يكون المربي بانيا وراعيا أمينًا ..؟

إنك إن علّمت جاهلا، أو أرشدت ضالا، أو ثقّفت عاقلا، أو قوّمت سلوكا منحرفا، أو هذّبت أخلاقا، أو أدّبت القول والفعل من كائن بشري، فقد قدّمت إليه أحسن خدمة في الحياة، وقدّمت كذلك للبشرية خيرا كثيرا ونفعا عميما، فالمرء تتفاوت قيمته مع غيره من الناس بمقدار ما يملك من علم يسخره في أوجه الحياة المختلفة ليعمل به ولينفع به الناس، جالبا لهم الخير، أو دافعا عنهم الشر، ومالكو الحس الإنساني الراقي لا يقفون من الحياة موقف المتفرجين غير المبالين، والذيين لا يعنيهم من شأنها سوى ما يدور حول ذواتهم المحدودة و«الأنا» المتخفي في شخصياتهم النرجسية، إنهم يرون صورهم تنعكس في ذات كل شخص آخر غيرهم، لا يسعدون إلا إذا سعد أولئك الآخرون، ويحزنون إن ألم بهم كرب، أو نزل بساحتهم سوء أو ضيق أو ضرر، يواسون الآخرين بأفعالهم قبل أقوالهم، وبتضحياتهم قبل دعاويهم، وما من أحد يستحق بجدارة صفة «الكائن الإنساني» أكثر من هؤلاء المعلمين!
لا يكتمون العلم والمعارف، كما يكنز أصحاب الذهب والفضة أرصدتهم، ولا يبخلون ببذل معارفهم؛ كل معارفهم! إن وجدوا بين أيديهم طالبا للعلم، يستطيع أن يخفف بالحمل عنهم عبء هذا العلم، الذي أقض مضجعهم، وقوس ظهورهم، وبلبل أفكارهم، ينتشون فرحا وغبطة عندما يرون نظيرهم في العلم، ليقاسموه ما لديهم، وليفضوا إليه بهمومهم وما يقلق بالهم من مسائل العلم والمعرفة، والتي لا يرتقي إلى فقهه وامتلاك القدرة على فهمه واستيعابه إلا من هو على شاكلتهم، ينفقون العلم بسخاء، ويجودون بمسائله بكرم، يحبذون أن يلجوا التاريخ من أوسع أبوابه وأكبر سبله؛ بأن يتركوا لمن يأتي من بعدهم أثرا طيبا من علم، أو عالما متفوقا فجروا طاقاته، وأبرزوا مواهبه، وأجلوا منافعه للآخرين من بني جنسه.
كان من المعلمين -وكفاه ذلك شرفا ونبلا-يتعهدون طول حياتهم زرع الآخرين، يغذون عقولهم بالفكر، يروون ظمأهم للعلم والمعرفة، ويقوّمون طباعهم بالتربية والتهذيب، يشذبون النباتات المنحرفة بالتعديل والتوجيه والترشيد، فإذا نما الزرع واستوى على سوقه، وغدا مثار إعجاب، ومبعث فخر لوالديه، انسحبوا خفية إلى خلف المسرح، وكأنهم يتحرجون من أن يفسدوا على الأبوين اكتمال فرحتهم بهذا النجاح، الذي كانوا هم الصناع المبدعون له، والبناة الرئيسيون له، والرعاة الأمناء عليه لحين بلوغه هذه الدرجة، لا يعترضون سبيل أحد، ولا ينتظرون كلمة شكر من أحد، ولا يطلبون ضريبة ولا إتاوة، ولا يلزمون أحدا أن يلتفت إليهم اعترافا وتقديرا لما قدموا وبذلوا من تضحيات جسام.
