أعادت مالي تسمية شوارع وساحات عامة في العاصمة باماكو كانت تحمل أسماء مرتبطة بحقبة الاستعمار الفرنسي. وتمت إعادة تسمية شوارع فيديرب، وبيير دو ليل، وأرشينارد، وهم من شخصيات الإدارة الاستعمارية الفرنسية، بأسماء مامادو لامين درامي، وبانزومانا سيسوكو، والحاج عمر تال. كما تمت إعادة تسمية شارع مجموعة “إيكواس” باسم شارع “تحالف دول الساحل”. وشملت إعادة التسمية 25 موقعا في العاصمة.
