بمبادرة من مركز دكار الممثل لجامعة الإمام الاوزاعي بلبنان تم تنظيم حفلة تكريم للأستاذ الدكتور أسعد السحمراني أستاذ العقائد والأديان بالجامعة، وذلك يوم أمس السبت في قاعة المحاضرات بمقر رابطة العالم الإسلامي بدكار، وياتي هذا التكريم تقديرا لجهود الدكتور السحمراني في تأسيس المركز واستمراريته ، ودعم طلبة العلم ، وتقديرا لانتاجاته المعرفية ومشاركاته العلمية في مختلف دول العالم العربي والإسلامي.
حضر الحفل شخصيات علمية وثقافية وإعلامية يتقدمهم الدكتور تيارنو كاه مدير المعهد الإسلامي بدكار ، والأستاذ محمود عمر فلاته مدير مكتب رابطة العالم الإسلامي في السنغال ، والاستاذ محمد فتحي عيد مدير مكتب الندوة العالمية للشباب الإسلامي بدكار ، والاستاذ فاضل غي رئيس نادي السنغال الأدبي ، وطلاب المركز وشخصيات أخرى
وفي كلمته أكد الدكتور السحمراني على أهمية بناء المعرفة القادرة على الاستجابة للحاجات الإنسانية على أرض الواقع ، ثم بناء الإنسان في المرتبة الثانية، ثم بناء الأشياء. وهذا الترتيب الذي تم عكسه هو السبب المباشر لمشاكل التخلف في المجتمعات الإسلامية.
وقد تم تسليم الدكتور اسعد السحمراني درعا تذكاريا وثيابا سنغالية باسم إداريي وطلاب المركز .
