جوماي فاي: “من أجل خفض أسعار الكهرباء، علينا التحوّل إلى الغاز…”
في زيارة ميدانية قادته إلى المنصة الغازية الكبرى “غراند تورت آحميم” (GTA)، يوم الخميس 22 مايو 2025، رفقة نظيره الموريتاني محمد ولد الشيخ الغزواني، كشف الرئيس السنغالي بشير جوماي فاي عن استراتيجية حكومته لخفض أسعار الكهرباء بشكل مستدام.
وأوضح فاي أن الحل يكمن في التخلي التدريجي عن الوقود والبترول في إنتاج الكهرباء، لصالح الغاز، الذي يُعدّ أقل تكلفة وأكثر مراعاة للبيئة. وقال: “الطاقة مكلفة في السنغال. والحكومة تعمل على خفض الأسعار، وسيساعدنا في ذلك الانتقال من الإنتاج القائم على الوقود إلى الإنتاج القائم على الغاز. هدفنا أن تعمل كل المحطات الكهربائية بالغاز”.
وتندرج هذه الخطوة ضمن سياسة الانتقال الطاقي الطموحة التي تتبناها الدولة، والتي أصبحت ممكنة بفضل الاستغلال المشترك للموارد الغازية بين السنغال وموريتانيا في منطقة الحدود البحرية
