تعيين مسؤول موريتاني في منصب دولي

عيّن البنك الدولي الموريتاني عثمان دياجانا، نائبا لرئيسه مسؤولا عن منطقتي غرب ووسط أفريقيا اعتبارًا من 1 يوليو 2020.
دياجانا في منصبه الجديد يقود علاقات البنك الدولي مع 22 دولة ويشرف على مجموعة من المشاريع والمساعدة الفنية والموارد المالية بقيمة أكثر من 38 مليار دولار، حسب بيان نشر على موقع البنك الدولي على الانترنت.
دياجانا يتولى منصبه الجديد قادما من منصب نائب الرئيس المسؤول عن قواعد السلوك والأخلاقيات المهنية من أكتوبر 2015 إلى يناير 2018.
وقد عمل سابقا كمدير إقليمي للبنك الدولي في أبيدجان مسؤولا عن ساحل العاج وبوركينا فاسو وبنين وغينيا وتوغو وقبل ذلك شغل منصب المدير الإقليمي في باماكو مسؤولا عن مالي والنيجر وتشاد وغينيا كما عمل أيضا في المغرب والنيجر.
وقد انضم عثمان دياغانا إلى البنك الدولي عام 1992 وهو حاصل على شهادات في الاقتصاد والتمويل والتخطيط وشهادة في سياسات التعليم والتحليل.
