“بروفسير سنغالي” يحصل على جائزة الصيدلة الفرنكوفونية 2020

منحت الأكاديمية الفرنسية للصيدلة جائزة الصيدلة الفرنكوفونية لعام 2020 للأستاذ داودة ندياي ، رئيس قسم علم الطفيليات – الفطريات بكلية الطب والصيدلة وطب الأسنان في جامعة الشيخ أنتا ديوب في داكار (UCAD) ،.

تُمنح هذه الجائزة لكل باحث في المجال من الدول الفرانكوفونية لمكافأة وتعزيز وإبراز أنشطتهم المهنية وبحثهم العلمي.

كان البروفيسور “داودا ندياي” ، رئيس قسم علم الطفيليات والفطريات في مستشفى Aristide Le Dantec ، وراء اكتشاف اختبار الملاريا “Illumigène-Malaria” في عام 2016 ، والذي يعتبر “ثورة في معالجة مرض الملاريا”. .

وقالت السكرتيرة الدائمة للأكاديمية الفرنسية للصيدلة ، ليليان جرانجوت-كيروس ، إن حفل توزيع الجوائز الرسمي الذي كان مقررًا هذا العام سيتم تنظيمه في عام 2021 بسبب الأزمة الصحية المرتبطة بوباء كوفيد -19. في مذكرة تلقتها وكالة الأنباء السنغالية.

وقال “الأستاذ داودة ندياي”: إن حصوله على الجائزة هو عمل فريق كامل وتكريم تم منحه من قبل الأكاديمية الفرنسية للصيدلة المسؤولة عن القطاع في الدول الناطقة بالفرنسية.
واضاف:  أهدي هذه الجائزة لجميع أساتذتي ، أولا البروفيسور عمر ندير الذي جعلني فيما أصبحت عليه ، ثم الراعي العلمي الذي اطرني وارشدني في العلوم البحثية ، البروفيسور ديان ويرث ” ..

البروفيسور “ندياي” أستاذ جامعي بارز في علم الطفيليات و مدير المركز الأفريقي للتميز في علم جينوم الأمراض المعدية ، والمستشار الفني لمنظمة الصحة العالمية والمستشار الخاص بجامعة هارفارد في بوسطن (الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية).
