ماكي سال: “في 12 سنة ضاعفنا القدرة الكهربائية للبلاد ثلاث مرات”
في كتابه الجديد بعنوان «إفريقيا في القلب»، الذي صدر بعد أكثر من سبعة عشر شهرًا من مغادرته السلطة، عاد الرئيس السنغالي السابق ماكي سال مطولًا إلى أولوياته في مجال الطاقة، مسلطًا الضوء على الإنجازات الكبرى التي تحققت خلال اثني عشر عامًا من حكمه بين 2012 و2024.
وقال ماكي سال إن تعميم الوصول إلى الكهرباء كان من بين الرهانات الوطنية الأساسية التي التزم بتحقيقها، مشيرًا إلى أن نسبة الكهرباء في الأرياف كانت لا تتجاوز 26% عند توليه الحكم، لترتفع إلى 63% عام 2024، وفق الأرقام الواردة في مؤلفه. وأضاف: «إيصال الكهرباء إلى جميع القرى كان أحد أبرز أهدافي، وقد تابعت شخصيًا ورشات الكهرباء طيلة فترتي الرئاسية».
وأوضح أن القدرة الكهربائية المركبة في البلاد تضاعفت ثلاث مرات، منتقلة من 550 ميغاواط إلى 1900 ميغاواط بين عامي 2012 و2024، بفضل برنامج واسع لربط المناطق بالشبكة الوطنية وتطوير الطاقات المتجددة. ومن أبرز المشاريع التي أوردها: محطات بوكهول وميرينا دكار ونياخار وكاهون ودياص، إضافة إلى محطة تايبا نداي الهوائية بطاقة 156 ميغاواط، مشيرًا إلى أنه دشّن محطة دياص إلى جانب المستشار الألماني أولاف شولتز في إطار تعاون وثيق مع ألمانيا.
كما أكد ماكي سال أن الطاقة المتجددة أصبحت تمثل 31% من المزيج الطاقي السنغالي، ما يجعل السنغال في مقدمة دول غرب إفريقيا في هذا المجال. وبيّن أن فترة حكمه شهدت بناء 2264 كيلومترًا من “الطرق السريعة الكهربائية”، وربط شبكة الضغط العالي بشكل كامل لتغطية أكثر من 5300 بلدة بمعدل 443 بلدة سنويًا.
وختم بالقول إن السنغال أصبحت عام 2023 ضمن الدول القليلة في مجموعة الإيكواس التي تمتلك فائضًا في الإنتاج الكهربائي، مما مكنها من تصدير الكهرباء إلى الدول المجاورة.
