قررت “مدينة الشيخ ابراهيم انياس” بكولاخ الاحتفال بليلة عاشوراء المعروفة في السنغال باسم “تمخاريت” ، والتي توافق ليلة العاشر من شهر محرم، رأس السنة الهجرية مساء الخميس 27 (يوليو) ليلة الجمعة 28 (يوليو).
جاء ذلك في تصريح للمتحدث باسم الخليفة العام ل “مدينه باي” الشيخ محمد ماحي سيسي، نشرته وكالة الأنباء السنغالية .
وقال المتحدث باسم الخليفة العام: “بعد التشاور مع الخليفة الشيخ محمد ماحي إبراهيم نياس ، تقرر الاحتفال بليلة عاشوراء مساء الخميس المقبل”.
والذي يوافق اليوم العاشر من شهر محرم (الشهر الأول من التقويم القمري الإسلامي).
ويعتبر تعظيم ليلة عاشوراء فرصة لتقديم الموائد والحلويات وإكرام الاطفال، حيث تعتبر لدى المجتمع السنغالي بمثابة “عيد الإحسان والكرم” تجاه الأسرة والآباء والأيتام والفقراء.
