“كورونا: منظمة الصحة تدعو دول المنطقة إلى التريث في رفع القيود
حذّر المدير الاقليمي لمنظمة الصحة العالمية في دول شرق المتوسط أحمد المنظري في مؤتمر صحافي الثلاثاء من تداعيات ظهور فيروس كورونا المستجد في سوريا وليبيا واليمن كما دعا دول المنطقة إلى التريث في رفع القيود.
وقال المنظري “أصبحت هذه المعركة أكثر تحدياً مع ظهور الفيروس في بلدان مثل الجمهورية العربية السورية وليبيا واليمن”.
وأضاف “خلَّفَت عقود وسنوات من النزاع، يصاحبه في بعض الأحيان كوارث طبيعية وفاشيات سابقة، في هذه البلدان نُظُماً صحية ضعيفة (..) وهناك ملايين الأشخاص الذين هم أكثر عُرضة للإصابة بالأمراض المُعدية بسبب ظروف المعيشة في أماكن مكتظة، وضعف المناعة الناجم عن سنوات من انعدام الأمن الغذائي”.
وأوضح أنه في اليمن يعتمد أكثر من 13 مليون شخص شهرياً على المساعدات الغذائية، كما يحتاج 8.8 ملايين شخص إلى الرعاية الصحية.
ولفت المنظري إلى أن “الانقسام السياسي” في هذه الدول يؤدي إلى محدودية وصول الخدمات الانسانية إلى بعض المناطق.
من ناحية أخرى، حذّر المدير الاقليمي بمنظمة الصحة العالمية من قيام بعض الدول ب”رفع القيود السابق لأوانه عن تدابير التباعد البدني”.
وقال: إن ذلك قد يتسبب ب”عودة ظهور مرض كوفيد-19 وخروجه عن السيطرة بما يسبب موجة ثانية متفاقمة من حالات الإصابة”.
وكانت بعض الدول مثل مصر والسعودية قررت خلال شهر رمضان تخفيف بعض القيود مثل تقليل ساعات حظر التجول وفتح جزئي للمحال والمراكز التجارية بهدف تسهيل الأمور على المواطنين.
