استقبل الخليفة العام للطريقة الفيضية التجانية، الشيخ ماحي إبراهيم انياس، يوم الثلاثاء بمدينة باي، وفداً من قِبَل الخليفة العام للطريقة المريدية، الشيخ منتقى امباكي.
اللقاء جاء ليجدد التأكيد على متانة الروابط الروحية والتاريخية بين الطريقتين الصوفيتين العريقتين في السنغال، حيث شدد الشيخ ماحي إبراهيم انياس على أن ما يجمع المريدية والفيضة التيحانية هو حب الله ورسوله ﷺ وخدمة الأمة.
ويأتي هذا اللقاء الأخوي في أجواء الاستعدادات للاحتفال بالمولد النبوي الشريف في مدينة باي، حيث تستقبل مدينة كاولاخ وفودا من مختلف أنحاء العالم في أجواء من الذكر والمديح النبوي، تعبيراً عن وحدة الصف وروح التضامن التي تميز المشهد الديني في السنغال.
