سيراليون: عثمان سونكو يدعو إلى فتح ممر بحري بين داكار وفريتاون
في إطار جولته الدبلوماسية في غرب إفريقيا، حلّ الوزير الأول السنغالي عثمان سونكو ضيفًا رسميًا على سيراليون، حيث استقبله الرئيس جوليوس مادا بيو يوم الثلاثاء 3 يونيو 2025 بالقصر الرئاسي في فريتاون.
ووصل سونكو إلى العاصمة السيراليونية مساء الإثنين، على رأس وفد وزاري يضم وزراء الاقتصاد والطاقة والصيد البحري. وكان في استقباله بمطار فريتاون نائب الرئيس محمد جولديه جالو، قبل أن يُنظم على شرفه عشاء رسمي في مستهل زيارة تستغرق 24 ساعة، وُصفت بأنها “زيارة لتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية”.
وبعد لقاء مغلق بين سونكو والرئيس السيراليوني، انعقد اجتماع موسع بين وفدي البلدين، تناول آفاق التعاون الثنائي، بحسب بيان صادر عن الحكومة السنغالية.
وخلال اللقاء، نقل عثمان سونكو تحيات الرئيس بشير جومباي فاي، مؤكدًا حرص داكار على إطلاق “ممر بحري بين داكار وفريتاون”، انطلاقًا من القرب الجغرافي بين البلدين، وما يمثله من فرصة لتكثيف التبادلات التجارية والبشرية.
كما قدّم سونكو الخطوط العريضة للتوجه الدبلوماسي الجديد للسنغال، الذي يرتكز على تعزيز التكامل الإقليمي وتكثيف التضامن الإفريقي. من جانبه، رحب الرئيس السيراليوني بالمبادرة، معربًا عن استعداده لتوسيع آفاق التعاون مع داكار في مختلف المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
