رحبت المنظمة غير الحكومية “جمره ” برد الفعل السريع لعناصر شرطة ربس الذين نزلوا على الفور في مكان الجامع الكبير بدكار ، بعد أن نبههم حارسه لإلقاء القبض على اثنين من المثليين المنحرفين بفعل هذا المنكر وفي ساحة هذا المكان .
وقررت المكاتب التنفيذية للمنظمة الإسلامية غير الحكومية JAMRA ، وجمعية خدمة الصوفية (AIS) ، والمنظمة غير الحكومية دار القرآن والإحسان أن تصبح طرفاً مدنياً ، من خلال تقديم شكوى إلى مكتب النيابة العامة.
وللتذكير فقد طالبت منظمة JAMRA من الشرطة ذات مرة وبشكل شرعي إغلاق الديسكو السحاقي ، المسمى “5 sur 5” ، في Mboro (منطقة Thiés) وتم ذلك ، و كان ذلك المرقص سببا في إفساد أخلاق عدد من الفتيات المراهقات في تلك المنطقة.
