أعلن رئيس الوزراء السنغالي (عثمان سونكو) في تصريحات له اليوم الجمعة عن اتخاذ إجراءات تقشفية لمواجهة المشكلات الاقتصادية الناجحة عن التوترات الحالية في الشرق الأوسط.
وأوضح أن هناك دولا كثيرة اتخذت إجراءات تقشفية تشمل رفع أسعار المواد الغذائية وأما السنغال فتتخذ إجراءات تقشفية تشمل نقص الإنفاق العام وإلغاء الرحلات غير الضرورية لجميع الوزراء بمن فيهم رئيس الوزراء الذي كان من المقرر أن يجري زيارات في كل من النيجر وإسبانيا وفرنسا.
