أفادت وسائل إعلام لبنانية بأن رئيس جمهورية سيراليون جوليوس مادا بيو غادر اليوم الأربعاء مستشفى الجامعة الأمريكية في بيروت، حيث خضع لفحوصات طبية عقب إصابته بفيروس كورونا.
وحسب قناة “LBCI” اللبنانية، أعلن قنصل سيراليون في لبنان هاشم هاشم أن رئيس جمهورية سيراليون غادر مستشفى الجامعة الأمريكية اليوم، بعدما أجرى الفحوصات اللازمة بإشراف الوزير اللبناني السابق محمد جواد خليفة، وذلك بعد تماثله للشفاء.
ولفتت إلى أن الرئيس الإفريقي سيمضي فترة نقاهة في أحد الفنادق ويتابع زيارته الخاصة إلى لبنان قبل عودته إلى سيراليون.
وكانت قناة “mtv” اللبنانية أفادت بأن رئيس سيراليون وصل إلى بيروت الأسبوع الماضي حيث نقله الصليب الأحمر اللبناني إلى مستشفى الجامعة الأمريكية لتلقي العلاج من كورونا، من دون ذكر المزيد من التفاصيل عن حالته الصحية.
