وتجمع متظاهرون ضمن “حركة M30 Naaba Wobgo” الذين طالبوا الجمعة ، خلال مسيرة في واغادوغو ، برحيل السفير الفرنسي لوك هالاد من بوركينا فاسو ، وكذلك إنهاء اتفاقيات التعاون مع فرنسا ، وتم تفريقهم بالغاز المسيل للدموع في وسط مدينة واغادوغو.
وسرعان ما فرقت الشرطة عشرات المتظاهرين الذين تجمعوا في ساحة الأمة في قلب العاصمة البوركينابية بينما كانوا يستعدون للتوجه إلى السفارة الفرنسية.
وشوهدت وسط الحشد لافتات معادية للوجود الفرنسي في بوركينا فاسو ولوح بعض المتظاهرين بالأعلام الروسية.
تم تهريب منسقة الحركة ، ييلي مونيك كام ، المرشحة الرئاسية الفاشلة لعام 2020 ، التي بادرت بهذه التظاهرة ، من قبل أنصارها عندما بدأت الشرطة في تفريق الحشد.
في مواجهة إطلاق الغاز المسيل للدموع ، انسحب المتظاهرون إلى دوار الأمم المتحدة ، مما عطل حركة المرور حوالي الساعة الرابعة مساءً بتوقيت غرينتش.

وقال محتجون لوكالة الأناضول إن الشرطة اعتقلت بعض الأشخاص دون تحديد عددهم.
غير أن الشرطة صعدت على متن سيارات خاصة بالمتظاهرين حول دوار الأمم المتحدة.
وقال المنظمون إن المظاهرة التي كان من المقرر تنظيمها أيضا في بوبو ديولاسو ، في مدينة بوركينا فاسو الثانية ، لم تحصل على تصريح من سلطات المدينة.
وقالت منسقة الحركة ، ييلي مونيك كام ، الأسبوع الماضي ، إن الاحتجاجات ضد السفارة الفرنسية في بوركينا فاسو ستستمر كل يوم جمعة حتى مغادرة الدبلوماسي الفرنسي من واغادوغو.
