السنغال.. اكتشاف 7 إصابات بالحمى الصفراء

أعلنت منظمة الصحة العالمية، الخميس، اكتشاف 7 حالات إصابة بالحمى الصفراء في السنغال.

وأوضحت المنظمة في بيان، أن حالات الإصابة بالحمى الصفراء في السنغال تم اكتشافها منذ أكتوبر/تشرين الأول الماضي.

وأضاف البيان أن إثنين من المصابين السبعة، فقدوا حياتهم نتيجة المرض.

ولفت البيان إلى أن عدوى الحمى الصفراء ما زالت موجودة في الأجزاء الشرقية من السنغال رغم إطلاقها في عام 2007 حملة تلقيح ضد الحمى الصفراء.

يذكر أن الفيروس المسبب للحمى الصفراء ينتقل في الغالب إلى الإنسان عن طريق البعوض.
