الرئيس فاي يدعو إلى إنجاح تحدي “مليون شجرة خلال 48 ساعة” كجهد جماعي وطني
أطلق رئيس الجمهورية، بشير جوماي فاي، يوم السبت في منطقة مباو بضواحي داكار، التحدي الوطني الكبير تحت شعار “مليون شجرة خلال 48 ساعة”، داعيًا الشعب السنغالي بكل مكوناته إلى مشاركة واسعة في هذه المبادرة البيئية ذات الطابع الرمزي والاستراتيجي.
وقال الرئيس فاي، خلال إحياء اليوم الوطني للاستثمار البشري في الغابة المصنفة لمباو:
“كل شجرة نغرسها اليوم تمثل التزامًا تجاه الأجيال القادمة. أوجه نداءً رسميًا إلى الإدارة العامة، والجماعات المحلية، والشباب، والنساء، والمؤسسات الخاصة، والمدارس، وشركائنا في التنمية، والمواطنين في الداخل والشتات، ليكونوا جزءًا فاعلًا في هذا التحدي.”
وشهد حفل الإطلاق حضور شخصيات حكومية ومسؤولين إداريين وتقليديين ومنتخبين ونواب برلمان، بالإضافة إلى فاعلين مجتمع مدني وشركاء تقنيين وماليين وهيئات مهتمة بالبيئة.
وأبرز رئيس الجمهورية أن التحدي لا يقتصر على زرع الأشجار فقط، بل يشكّل فرصة لتجسيد السيادة البيئية للسنغال، داعيًا إلى جعله نجاحًا جماعيًا، والتزامًا طويل المدى، ولحظة تاريخية في مسيرة البلاد البيئية.
وأضاف:
“أدعو إلى تعبئة وطنية مواطِنة توازي حجم التحديات. فكل شجرة تُزرع وتُحمى وتُتابع حتى تنمو هي مساهمة ثمينة في تحقيق أهدافنا البيئية.”
وفي خطوة موازية، أعلن الرئيس إطلاق قافلة البيئة لسنة 2025، التي ستجوب جميع مناطق البلاد للتوعية والتكوين والعمل والمتابعة البيئية الميدانية. وقال:
“غرس شجرة اليوم هو فعل مدروس وواعٍ ومتجذر في ثقافتنا وقيمنا العميقة.”
كما أكد أن هذه المبادرات تأتي في صلب تنفيذ رؤية السنغال 2050، التي تهدف إلى بناء دولة خضراء، ذات سيادة، منخفضة الكربون، وقادرة على التكيّف مع تغيّرات المناخ.
وفي معرض حديثه عن الغابة المصنفة لمباو، وصفها بـ”الرئة الخضراء” لمنطقة داكار، محذرًا من التدهور البيئي الخطير الذي يهددها نتيجة الزحف العمراني، والرمي العشوائي للنفايات، والقطع الجائر للأشجار، والجفاف، وانعدام الأمن، وتصريف المياه بطريقة عشوائية.
وختم قائلاً:
