دعا وزير الحج والعمرة، الدكتور محمد صالح بن طاهر بنتن، دول العالم من أمام الكعبة المشرفة للتريث في إبرام عقود الحج، وقال في لقاء عبر قناة “الإخبارية: “إن المملكة العربية السعودية على كامل الاستعداد لخدمة الحجاج والمعتمرين في جميع الأحوال، وعلى استعدادها لحفظ صحة المسلمين والمواطنين، لكن الظروف الحالية نحن نتحدث فيها عن جائحة عالمية؛ ولذلك طلبنا من الإخوة المسلمين في جميع دول العالم التريث في عمل أي عقود حتى تتضح الرؤية. ونسأل الله أن يُذهب هذا البلاء، ونكون سالمين وغانمين، وفي أمن وأمان”.
ووصف “بنتن” تسهيل مغادرة نصف مليون معتمر بالجهود الكبيرة التي شاركت فيها جميع الجهات الحكومية والقطاع الخاص، مؤكدًا حرص الوزارة على إعادة جميع المبالغ لكل الأشخاص الذين كانوا حاجزين لتأدية العمرة، وحصلوا على التأشيرات، ولم يتمكنوا من السفر إلى السعودية بسبب تعليق العمرة والزيارة.
