بمزيدٍ من الرضا بقضاء الله وقدره، ينعى فضيلة الإمام الأكبر أ.د/ أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر الشريف، إلى الأمة الإسلامية، فضيلة العالم الجليل أ.د/ أحمد عمر هاشم، عضو هيئة كبار العلماء بالأزهر، وأستاذ الحديث وعلومه بكلية أصول الدين، ورئيس جامعة الأزهر الأسبق، الذي وافته المنية فجر اليوم، بعد رحلةٍ زاخرةٍ قضاها في نشر العلم والدعوة إلى الله تعالى.
ويؤكِّد شيخ الأزهر أن فقيد الأمة الراحل كان عالِمًا أزهريًّا أصيلًا، وأحد أبرز علماء الحديث في عصرنا، رزقه الله حسن البيان وفصاحة اللسان، والإخلاص في الدعوة إلى الله، وخدمة سنة نبيه ﷺ، ونشر العلم، وستظل خطبه وكتبه ومحاضراته منهلًا عذبًا لطلاب العلم والباحثين.
ويتقدَّم شيخ الأزهر الشريف بخالص العزاء وصادق المواساة إلى أسرة العالم الراحل، وزملائه وتلامذته وطلاب العلم ومحبيه، سائلًا المولى عز وجل أن يتغمد الفقيد بواسع رحمته ورضوانه، وأن يُسكنه فسيح جناته، وأن يجعل سعيه في نشر العلم شفيعًا له، وأن يرزق أهله وذويه الصبر والسلوان.
