الصديق هو الذي إذا رأى فيك خيرا أو سمع عنك خيرا استبشر ثم نشره، وإذا رأى فيك شرا نصحك ثم دفنه، وإذا سمع عنك عيبا دافع عنك بعدل.
الصديق كالعضو في الجسم ، وكالمرآة إذا نظرت إليها، فلن ترى إلا نفسك.
الصديق هو من صدّق في قلبه لا بلسانه ، وأعانك بعلمه، وماله ، وقوّته، وحياته دون إفراط ولا تفريط.
الصديق الحقيقي توفيق إلهي، يرزق الله به من يشاء، فمن صادف الصديق الحقيقي فليحمدالله، وليزد الشكر، ليزيده من فضله، إنه الشكور المجيد.
