توقيف ماجامبال جانج في فرنسا بتهمة معاملات مالية مشبوهة
أكد أحد محامي الصحفي ماجامبال جانج، رئيس مجموعة Avenir Communication، أنه تم توقيف موكله في فرنسا بموجب مذكرة توقيف دولية صادرة بحقه. ونقل موقع “سني ويب” عن المحامي قوله إن عملية التوقيف تمت خلال الساعات الماضية، في إطار تحقيق قضائي دولي يتعلق بمعاملات مالية يُشتبه في طابعها غير القانوني.
وتشير المعلومات إلى أن جانج ملاحق في قضية مالية كبرى تتعلق بتحويلات وعمليات يُعتقد أنها مشبوهة، ورد ذكرها في تقرير صادر عن وحدة الاستخبارات المالية (CENTIF)، وتبلغ قيمتها نحو 21 مليار فرنك إفريقي.
ويشرف على التحقيق قضاة مختصون في الجرائم الاقتصادية والمالية، يسعون إلى تتبّع مسار الأموال المشبوهة وتحديد الجهات والأطراف المتورطة داخل السنغال وخارجها.
ويُعدّ ماجامبال جانج من أبرز الشخصيات الإعلامية في السنغال، حيث يرأس صحيفة لو كوتيديان ومجموعة Avenir Communication، إحدى أهم المجموعات الإعلامية الخاصة في البلاد
