تسعون عامًا من العطاء.. داكار تحتفي بالرئيس الأسبق عبد جوف
تستعد أسرة الرئيس الأسبق عبد جوف، بالتعاون مع مؤسسة عبد جوف للرياضة والفضيلة، لتنظيم احتفال مميز بمناسبة بلوغه سنّ التسعين، يوم الثلاثاء 2 سبتمبر 2025، في متحف الحضارات السوداء بالعاصمة داكار. وسيجمع الحدث بين معرض وثائقي ومؤتمر فكري، بحضور شخصيات بارزة من عالم السياسة والثقافة والفكر.
ينطلق البرنامج ابتداءً من التاسعة صباحًا بكلمات افتتاحية لأسرة الرئيس الأسبق، ولمسؤولي المؤسسة، ولرئيس الجمهورية أو من يمثله. يلي ذلك مؤتمر افتتاحي يلقيه البروفيسور سليمان بشير ديان، ثم تتوالى ثلاث إلى أربع شهادات حية تضيء مسيرة هذا الرجل الذي طبع الحياة السياسية السنغالية لعقود. عند الساعة 12:45، سيُفتتح رسميًا معرض خاص مكرّس لمسيرة جوف، ويظل مفتوحًا أمام الجمهور حتى السابع من سبتمبر.
ويأتي هذا الاحتفال تكريمًا لإرث عبد جوف، المولود في 7 سبتمبر 1935، الذي حكم السنغال من 1981 إلى 2000 خلفًا للشاعر والرئيس ليوبولد سيدار سنغور. خبير الاقتصاد المتمرس، أدار إصلاحات اجتماعية واقتصادية مهمة، ثم تولى مناصب دولية مرموقة، أبرزها منصب الأمين العام للمنظمة الدولية للفرنكوفونية بين 2003 و2014، ما رسّخ مكانته كأحد أبرز القادة الأفارقة في القرن العشرين
