الرئيس باسيرو جوماي فاي يدعو إلى تعزيز دور رئيس الوزراء في إطار توزيع السلطة
في تصريحات جريئة أدلى بها خلال مقابلة صحفية مع وسائل الإعلام في 4 أبريل 2025، دعا الرئيس باسيرو جوماي فاي إلى تعزيز دور رئيس الوزراء ومنحه صلاحيات أقوى في إطار إعادة هيكلة النظام السياسي في السنغال , هذا الموقف يأتي في وقت تشهد فيه البلاد نقاشات مستمرة حول توزيع السلطات في الحكومة.
وقال الرئيس فاي: “أريد رئيس وزراء قوي للغاية، ولا يهمني معارضته”، مشيرًا إلى دعمه المستمر لرئيس الوزراء الحالي عثمان سونكو. وأوضح أن دعمه ليس مبنيًا على الصفات الشخصية لرئيس الوزراء فقط، بل نابع من قناعته بأن توزيع السلطة بشكل أكثر توازنًا سيكون في مصلحة البلاد.
وتابع فاي موضحًا أن هذا التوجه كان موجودًا لديه قبل وصوله إلى السلطة، مؤكدًا أن “التركيز المفرط للسلطة في يد رئيس الجمهورية لم يعد أمرًا قابلًا للاستمرار”. وأضاف أن النظام السياسي يجب أن يعتمد على التعاون بين جميع أعضاء الحكومة، وليس على احتكار السلطة.
وأكد فاي في تصريحاته أن دعوته لتقوية منصب رئيس الوزراء لا تهدف إلى إحداث تغييرات جذرية في النظام، بل هي جزء من الجهود المستمرة التي بدأتها “أعمال المؤتمر الوطني”، التي يعتبرها الرئيس فاي نقطة انطلاق نحو إصلاح النظام السياسي في السنغال.
واختتم الرئيس فاي تصريحاته بدعوة إلى تحديث النظام السياسي في السنغال بحيث يتم توزيع السلطة بشكل متوازن بين المؤسسات المختلفة، معتبرا أن هذا سيعزز فعالية الحكومة ويحقق الاستقرار السياسي في البلاد.
