مقتل جندي فرنسي من كتيبة الخيالة
قتل الاثنين في مالي جندي فرنسي من الفيلق الأجنبي في قوة برخان المنتشرة في منطقة الساحل خلال عملية ضد مجموعات جهادية مسلّحة، وفق ما أعلنت الرئاسة الفرنسية.
وقالت الرئاسة إن القتيل ينتمي إلى كتيبة الخيالة الأولى، وهي نفس الكتيبة التي ينتمي إليها جندي توفّي الجمعة متأثراً بجروح أصيب بها في 23 أبريل/نيسان من جرّاء انفجار عبوة ناسفة لدى مرور آليته.
وبذلك يرتفع إلى 43 عدد العسكريين الفرنسيين الذين قتلوا في منطقة الساحل منذ بداية التدخل العسكري الفرنسي في 2013، بحسب تعداد أجري استنادا إلى أرقام نشرتها هيئة الأركان.
ويذكر أن الجيش الفرنسي ضاعف في الأسابيع الأخيرة عملياته في منطقة الساحل، بين النيجر ومالي، مؤكدا “تحييد” عشرات الجهاديين منذ بداية السنة.
