دشن مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية حملة مكافحة العمى والأمراض المسببة له في مدينة إمباكي بجمهورية السنغال التي تمتد من 27 فبراير وحتى 5 مارس 2022 م.
وأجرى الفريق الطبي خلال الحملة حتى الآن الكشف على 2.000 مريض، وإجراء 220 عملية جراحية لإزالة المياه البيضاء، وصرف 250 نظارة طبية.
وتأتي هذه الحملة امتدادا للمشاريع المتصلة بمكافحة العمى التي تنفذها المملكة ممثلة بالمركز للعائلات من ذوي الدخل المحدود في عدد من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة.
