أعادت السفارة الإيرانية لدى الرياض فتح أبوابها اليوم الأربعاء للمرة الأولى منذ قطع العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين إيران والسعودية قبل سبع سنوات.
وبحسب وكالة “تسنيم” الدولية للأنباء، قال شاهد عيان لوكالة “رويترز” إن أبواب السفارة الإيرانية في السعودية فتحت لأول مرة منذ 7 سنوات.
وذكرت “تسنيم” أن مراسل “رويترز” أفاد بأن أبواب مجمع السفارة الإيرانية في الرياض فتحت أثناء تفتيش الوفد الإيراني وشوهدت أمامه سيارة بيضاء.
واليوم الأربعاء، أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الإيرانية عن وصول وفد ايراني إلى الرياض تمهيدا لإعادة فتح السفارة بالعاصمة الرياض والقنصلية في جدة.
وقال ناصر كنعاني المتحدث باسم الخارجية الإيرانية إن الوفد مكون من مجموعتين إحداها تتوجه للرياض لتفقد السفارة الإيرانية والأخرى إلى جدة من أجل الإجراءات اللازمة لإعادة فتح القنصلية الإيرانية وممثلية إيران لدى منظمة التعاون الإسلامي.
وأكد كنعاني أن بلاده تسعى لإعادة فتح ممثلياتها قبل موسم الحج.
من الجدير ذكره أن الوفد السعودي الذي يتواجد في إيران منذ يوم السبت سيتوجه غدا إلى مدينة مشهد.
وفي 10 مارس، أعلنت الرياض وطهران الاتفاق على استئناف العلاقات الدبلوماسية وإعادة فتح السفارتين والممثليات الدبلوماسية في غضون شهرين.
