ترأس الرئيس الانتقالي، العقيد آسيمي غويتا ، رئيس الدولة ، يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 9 أغسطس 2022 ، حفل التسليم الرسمي لمجموعة كبيرة من الطائرات والمعدات للقوات المسلحة المالية.

وقد شارك في هذا الحدث التاريخي رئيس الوزراء ، سفير روسيا الاتحادية ، والأعضاء السابقون في القوات الجوية.

لقد تم تعزيز قدرات القوات الجوية بفضل عمليات الاستحواذ الجديدة على الطائرات المقاتلة من نوع L39 وسوخوي 25 وطائرات الهليكوبتر الهجومية من نوع MI24-P و MI-8 ، بالإضافة إلى طائرة إيرباص -295 كاسا التكتيكية الثانية.
