دكار: عفو رئاسي عن 818 سجينًا بمناسبة العام الجديد

(وكالة الأنباء السنغالية) أصدر رئيس الجمهورية “ماكي سال” ، عفواً رئاسيا عن 818 معتقلا أدينوا بارتكاب جرائم مختلفة ، وفق ما أعلنته وزارة العدل.
ومن بين المعتقلين المشمولين بالعفو 786 شخصًا يستفيدون من تخفيف كامل للعقوبة ، و14 معتقلا مصابًا بمرض خطير ، و أخرين فوق 65 عامًا ، و 10 قاصرين ، و 26 حالة تخفيف لعقوبات بالسجن لمدة عامين و6 تخفيف لعقوبة السجن المؤبد إلى 20 عامًا.
واكد بيان وزارة العدل على أن هذا الإجراء من قبل رئيس الدولة يعكس التزامه بإعطاء فرصة ثانية لفئة من المواطنين المخالفين للقانون بشكل مؤقت.
