داكار : وزراء المالية الأفارقة يطالبون بانضمام الاتحاد الإفريقي إلى مجموعة العشرين.
طالب وزراء المالية والتخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية الأفارقة، في البيان الختامي للدورة الـ54 لمؤتمرهم المنعقد هذا الأسبوع في العاصمة السنغالية دكار، بانضمام الاتحاد الإفريقي إلى مجموعة العشرين.
ودعا المشاركون، من خلال البيان الذي تمت قراءته في ختام هذا المؤتمر الذي تمحورت أعماله حول موضوع “تمويل النهوض بإفريقيا: بلوغ آفاق جديدة”، أعضاء مجموعة الـ20 إلى “القبول بعضوية الاتحاد الإفريقي الذي يضم 1.4 مليون نسمة، ويقدر إنتاجه السنوي بـ2600 مليار دولار، من أجل تعزيز صوت إفريقيا في الحوار وصنع القرار على مستوى العالم”.
وحثوا كذلك “أعضاء مجموعة الـ20 وصندوق النقد الدولي على إصلاح البناء المالي الدولي، حتى تستفيد البلدان الإفريقية بسهولة أكبر وبأقل التكاليف من موارد المؤسسات المالية متعددة الأطراف والإقليمية”.
وأوصوا لجنة الأمم المتحدة الاقتصادية لإفريقيا بمواصلة الإسهام بدورها القيادي الفكري ودعمها الفني في مداولات مجموعة العمل رفيعة المستوى حول الهيكل المالي الجديد وتولي أمانته.
وخاطب المشاركون في المؤتمر شركاء التنمية، لإعادة تكوين رؤوس أموال المصارف متعددة الأطراف للتنمية، بالشراكة مع المصارف العمومية الإفريقية للتنمية، وتوجيه جزء من حقوق السحب الخاصة إلى المصارف متعددة الأطراف للتنمية من أجل دعم إعادة تكوين رأسمالها، وتمويل المصارف العمومية الإفريقية للتنمية بهدف زيادة تمويل التنمية ومواجهة الأزمة الغذائية الوشيكة.
ويشكل مؤتمر وزراء المالية والتخطيط والتنمية الاقتصادية الأفارقة (كوم)، الذي اختير له هذه السنة محور “تمويل النهوض بإفريقيا: بلوغ آفاق جديدة”، أبرز حدث سنوي تنظمه لجنة الأمم المتحدة الاقتصادية لإفريقيا، حيث يسمح للمشاركين بمناقشة مسائل محورية متعلقة بتنمية القارة وبحث أداء مجموعة التفكير في تنفيذ تفويضها.
