وأوضح تام أن هذه العودة ستشمل 4.12 مليون تلميذ و106,689 معلماً، مشيراً إلى أن العدد الإجمالي للمتعلمين يتوزع بين 2.34 مليون تلميذ في المرحلة الابتدائية، و852,269 في المرحلة الإعدادية، و377,197 في التعليم الثانوي العام.
وأضاف أن هؤلاء التلاميذ سيلتحقون بـ21,448 مؤسسة تعليمية في جميع أنحاء البلاد. الاجتماع التحضيري حضره عدد من الوزراء، من بينهم وزراء التربية والتعليم، والجماعات المحلية، والصرف الصحي، والتكوين المهني، والشباب والرياضة، تأكيداً على أهمية الاستعداد الجيد لهذا الموعد التعليمي.
