افتتح مكتب الندوة بالسنغال مسجدين لأهالي كفرين و في مدينة كولخ ، بحضور الجهات الرسمية ورؤساء البلديات وشيوخ القرى .وبحضور مدير مكتب الندوة وفريق العمل بالمكتب
وكانت حاجة السكان بهاتين المنطقتين كبيرة لعدم وجود مساجد واحتياج السكان لصلاة الجمعة والصلوات الخمس في تلك الأحياء .وقد عبر السكان عن سعادتهم بهذين المسجدين وشكروا الندوة على هذا العمل المتميز والخدمة الهامة للسكان .ومن جانبه عبر سعادة القاضي ابراهيم باه عن سروره بهذا الافتتاح ، وثمن جهود المملكة العربية السعودية من خلال الندوه في كفرين و في كل السنغال ، كما شكر المملكة ملكا وحكومة وشعبا على هذا السخاء والكرم لاخوانهم في السنغال .
وعبر رؤساء القرى وأئمة المساجد عن فرحهم الكبير لهذا الافتتاح ، وأكدوا على الروابط الودية ببن شعب المملكة والشعب السنغالي المسلم .ومن جانبه شكر مدير مكتب الندوة الأستاذ فتحي عيد محمد الجهات الرسمية والشعبية والوجهاء الذين حضروا افتتاح هذين المسجدين ، وأكد على حرص الندوة على توفير المساجد في أماكن الاحتياجات الملحة مهما كانت بعيدة عن العاصمة دكار .وشكر معالي الأمين العام الدكتور صالح الوهيبي ونوابه الكرام على عظيم العناية بالسنغال والحرص على توفير مشروعات التنمية المختلفة للشعب السنغالي الشقيق .
